morning all
I have just applied for chase freedom and was denied I try the recon and told me is was due to too many inq (12) and a high uti (40%)I been banking with chase for 2 yrs , I have no baddies in my report and currently my old cards cl have automatic increase I have paid 3 of them to 0 lowering my overal uti ( and I have 100% payment history idk why they didn't approve me? Any help on how to recon this? Thank u all
I would wait a year, bring util down to below 10%.

I always thought Freedom was an odd bird of a card to get. Who knows. You might even be able to get a Mariott on that same pull.
Utilization is key! Work on it to bring it under 10% and you'll see how things turn around.
Agreed, just pay down your utilization and the Freedom will be yours besides it will work towards your advantage because one thing not mentioned often is that Chase loves to give high APR and isn't as keen on reducing it so hopefully this will help in giving your more favorable terms.
If your credit profile is on the "thin side" like mine, then those INQs killed your app pretty much.
