So, I have had bad credit for the past 6 or so months(low 500s).
Well, I am now between a score of 720-750
I had a 1600 limit on my Navy Federal League card and requested a CLI and got $16,000 my highest limit by far to date!!!!
Any way, I went ahead and applied for the Chase Freedom Unlimited card. Within 12 hours, it seems that I got an approval for $500 limit.
My 16,000 dollar limite from Navy League of course has not shown on my credit yet, but with my credit scores being 720 at the lowest one, what are my chances of trying to call in or whatever the best way is of getting a credit limit increase?

First of all Good Job getting yourself back up from low 500s to now 700s in span of 6 months? WOW!! Impressive and Congrats..
Second.. I gambled on a CLI requested over the weekend with my Chase Freedom Unlimited. Yes it was a HP on Experian. Came back pending but I called Chase Backdoor Credit Analyst who were able to review my CLI request on the spot. After grilling me for few mins regarding a charge off that happened to me with WAMU 13 yrs ago. She only approve me for $1K. I kind of feel/think I lost the gamble as I was expecting at least 2-3K increase. But I guess its better than nothing for a HP on your credit.
