Chase is one strange one

They deny me for the United Mileage Plus card, and then the very next day, preapprovals for Chase Sapphire Preferred and Chase Freedom Unlimited pop up on my chase account.. smh...will pass for now...

What was the reason for denial on the United Mileage card?

something about too many cards open recently which weird because I opened two cards in Jan, and a mortgage in february. Last time i opened an account before that was May 2016. 5/24 doesnt apply either....weird... Im guessing your response will be to recon :-)
