Hey, this is my first post. Found this forum while researching for Chase's pre-approvals.
I logged into my Chase app and saw a bunch of credit cards with a green star saying "You're Already Approved" and "You're Pre-Approved."
I clicked "See your offer" on the CSP and CSR, and I see a message saying "*My name,* you're already approved for a Chase Sapphire Reserve card." Because of your relationship with us, we're able to customize options that fit how you bank." I scrolled down and it has starting APR. The only thing I don't see is the credit line limit listed anywhere. I see some posts saying that they can see their credit limit offer in "You're Already Approved." Is this concerning if you don't see your starting credit limit?
Please help.
Thanks a bunch.
I wouldnt e concerned if you want the card as those are 99% golden approvals. I assume has a firm apr listed?
@CreditCuriosityYes, I do see the APR.
I am planning to travel to S.Korea, Japan, and Vietnam in April 2024, hoping to get a travel card and rack up some points until I book my flights.
If it is a set APR go for it and enjoy whatever card your are pre-approved for. Best of luck on getting a ncie credit line and a card that work for you. Chase's pre-approvals are about as solid as they come from any lending institution.
I have never seen an actual SL in the pre-approved offers, only the minimum SL required for approval.
In the case of the CSR (10K) and the CSP (5K) you can find this in the notices section of the card program description.
I agree that while not much is guaranteed when it comes to credit, green star pre-approvals are generally solid 👌
I've currently got already approved offers for both Sapphire cards, United Explorer, Southwest Plus, and Slate Edge. Only the Slate has a CL in the offer. Currently 9 months into my FU, which I got from a green-star offer last time I dropped below 5/24. All DPs I've seen indicate such offers are about as solid as it gets, with or without stated starting CL.
If you're seeing things like that I'd bet you'd see SL Signature Card above 15K. My first Chase card out of the gate was $17K
