I got the mailing for Citi AA in April 2016 and was approved with 3K. Pulled EX 659
I then got the mailing for Citi DC in May and was approved with 1k. Pulled EX 640
Tried my luck for the prestige in June lol but application was rejected. Called and they say they were unable to process another application due to the two recent. I would have to wait to apply again. No hit to credit score as they did not process the application.
Both cards are great but I jut loved the AA I got the sign on deal of 50k points with 3k spent within the first 3 months...hella nice!
Did you apply yet OP?

No I decided to hold off after the information that Score provided to me about Barclays been involved in 2017.
@ScoreOrBeScored wrote:And just imagine all of those that can't get in with citi gunna run to Barclay .l and existing customers that may have approval
issue with Barclay have option to mive limits around to open the new card . Lol
cutu better lax UW criteria or start pulling TU for apps lmao
This is going be such a system overload for both Citi and Barclays. If you couldn't get in would one you may be able to get in with the other one especially seeing that everybody in my area loves to pull EQ. So if your score is a little low or you might be mad at city for not let you in now you got another option going over there to Barclays getting basically the same card just a different name backing it. I also imagine that Barclays will probably been the rules on all their applications to make sure that they get a lot more customer then Citibank.
I so agree..... I can't wait !!!!
Just got approved last week for AAdvantage Executive World Elite (with 60k Bonus Poinsts). Score was in the lower 700s. I think 710 when I applied. It might depend on income & credit history. I have 7 inquires in the last 6 months.
