Citi CLI Denial -question

Hi guys

recently just requested a CLI on my citi card via SP. however, I did get a denial. Letter stated new accounts?  Which I have 3 new cards that are 4 months old. 

but I just realized that my last CLI was 5 months ago. Did I get denied because of this or the new accounts?  

eitherway I will try again next month when 6 months is up.

It might've been a combination of both, but they're legally only required to give one reason. Although, 3 accounts in 4 months is quite a bit, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was indeed the main reason.

It's quite possible that based on one's profile they would deny a CLI because you opened up 3 new accounts 4 months ago but it's been their policy to only consider a card to be eligible for a CLI when it's been more than 6 months since the last CLI granted on that card.

in that case I will just wait till those cards age 7 mo and go from there
