Citi Costco Anywhere CLI?

So not too long after the new Costco card went live, I applied for it because it would fit so well into my spending categories. It's my gas/dining/travel/Costco card outside of  Freedom/Discover quarters. This card has made several of my cards virtually useless (Amex PRG being the main one) and I am very happy to have it.

The one problem is my 8k starting CL. It's lower than most of my other cards, and while it should generally be plenty, I do spend a TON of money at Costco and can easily run it up over 8k whenever I renovate a house or apartment. 

Has anyone with a new account (applied after the switch) applied for a CLI yet? How did it go? It seems from the one or two reports I've seen on here that it will always be an HP. It asks for a desired credit limit, if I shoot for the moon at like 30k, will it counter? Or will it deny anything above the amount they will approve? Do they have instant approvals?

I applied the day it was available and got instant approved for 8k and was online and decided to ask for a increase in limit, it was a hard pull and got app pending. Next morning increase was approved asked for 12k and that's what they approved, it was very easy.
