I know they are picky with this card on inquiries, I know it heavily pulls experian, and I just had a pull from Amex business
790 exp
Profile looks like this,
less than 800 dollars in debt spread out over 4 loans less than 8%
0% utilization 29800 available credit
1 inquiry on exp from this month
0 on eq
1 on tu from march
no new personal accounts since March
New exp inquiry knocked Home Depot prequal off
how long until it's safe to try for the Costco card
I do not know the answer to your question, but I was approved with an EXP inquiry 3 weeks prior to the Citi Costco pull, and another 14 months before that. My score was in the 720 range (I think).
Thanks I just saw that a couple people were popped for inquiries and had like 2 in 12
I know regular Citi is inq and new account sensitive for 6 months. Costco is CBNA so their underwritting is different. Your profile looks like it would be pretty solid for a Costo card app IMO, but maybe someone else with more experience on that card could chime in. Also, are all of your revolvers at 0%? You say your debt is spread over 4 loans and your util is at 0%. Just wanted to make sure that's not really the case and you have at least a small balance reporting on a card somewhere in there.

Okay yeah 0.3% Azeo at all times

Got it! Good, I figured as much because you've been around the forums awhile so figured you'd be up on all that but just wanted to ask because of how you worded your post lol.

I used to use Citi's Home Depot prequal for a gauge on when to app anything Citi also. Idk if it works or not but it made me feel better. Citi has never denied me because of all of my inquiries but again, I waited on the Home Depot prequal to give a green light.
I have a lot of products personal and biz with Citi over the past two years. Lot's of app'ing going on with them and your Exp. profile shreds mine. I too think you'd be approved, but d
n't wanna say it......haha! Good Luck if and when.
Well I read on some dps they double pull with eq or pull just eq and I'm rolling with two sl lates I should probably wait till those go away in the off chance they pull both or just eq the do almost always pull Ex in my state (oh) I'd still rather wait I think

I just got a rewards plus card and after seeing this I hit the PQ button for HD and got "You are preapproved for....", Now I kind of want a double cash card..... its been less than a month on the current citi.... hmmm should I? Dare I? Why'd you have to say that about the preapproval?
Preapproved for hd =/= approved for legacy cards Home Depot is underwritten by the retail side the dc is notoriously hard to get and if you just got approved for a citi card I wouldn't do it I use that prequalifier as what won't I get approved for vs what will I get approved for it's a guage only
