I'm debating if I should apply for the Citibank Costco Card. Im post bk discharged 11/17 and Citi was never iib.
Current utilization is 30% but I paid everything off, it hasn't updated yet. I have Discover IT 5k CL, PenFed Power Rewards 7.5k CL, and two Capital One cards 2.3k and 3.5k CL.
Fico are 686 686 690
I just closed on my house and it hasn't reported to my credit yet. I wanted to app a couple cards before it does. Current inq are EX-4 TU-6 EQ-4.
No other derogatory on my report other than the bk.
Do you guys think it's worth applying for?
I don't see why not. You never know unless you try.

I would personally wait until everything updates. I personally know Discover you can call and they will do a mid cycle update. Not sure about penfed and capital one. You should be able to use creditchecktotal and pay $1 and see everything real time. Just make sure to cancel before 7 days is up or you will be charged. You want the best possible chances. You scores are not bad but I am pretty sure you would want a good SL.

When you say you paid everything off, do you mean all cards are $0? Because there is a scoring penalty for that, so make sure when your cards report, one of them has a small balance. This should give you a small score boost. THEN I would apply. The Citi Costco VISA is a great all-in-one card, and I believe it's one of Citi's easier cards to get. Good luck!

Personally, I would not waste the HP.
Citi can be a little sensitive to BK, regardless of whether IIB or not. And, while it's profile-dependent, it's best to wait 7 years post-BK.
But, if you don't mind the HP and want to see how the outcome fares for you, you're definitely welcome to try.
There's bound to be some members who may have been able to get approved without having to wait that long.
Good luck. Id say you were gtg.
I got $8k Costco card less than 6 years after BK and burned them.
I was not prequalified for Costco but was for Home Depot.

Kudos to your home purchase. If I were in your shoes, I would wait for scores to update in hope to get a larger SL.
