Citi DC Recon - Any Point?

As described in "Approvals", at the tail end of yesterday's mini-spree, I apped for the Citi DC and was declined. I had already gotten a CSP with an SL of 16.7K and an Amex BCP with an SL of 2K. I don't know why the BCP SL was so low, but I'll take it. I wanted to know if others here have had any luck with a Citi Recon. Here's my pre-spree data:

Eq = 769 (1)

TU = 703 (1)

Ex = 754 (6)   The spree added 3 HPs.

CO Platinum secured  599

CO QS 1,750

CFU 6K

Disc IT 6K

Util = 2%

AAoA = c. 18 months

I'll probably wait until I get the letter to call them, but, is it even worth it?

Calling to request reconsideration after just having gone on a spree sounds like a very bad idea -- unless you enjoy the idea of explaining to a customer service rep why you went on the spree.  To the bank, your file will suggest that you are "desparate for credit."
