Citi Diamond preferred, post application letter?

  I recievied a preselected Mailer, but found a longer 0%APR offer on Citis website for

 21 months, instead of 18 months. So I opted for the 21 month offer with no preselected invitation code.

This I guess might be why, Im in this wierd limbo with Citi, I had just called the back door

number to check my Application status, and they sent me a letter out I guess

Today, she would not tell me what this letter contained, stating privacy concerns ect. she would

only say that I wasnt Denied. With all my other CCs I have, they have always been instant approvals

or denials....

Sooo, can anyone Guess whats this letter for, or what it contains? Has anyone experianced this?

or is it just a covert denial?

I apped with a pre-approval code, and still got a letter.

It was a security clearance thing, and I just had to call in to verify some information (I had recently moved). I can't remember if I had to fax something or if they just sent a code to my phone.

I was approved on the phone for $5k SL, and got that bumped to $7k online a day or two later.

My guess is that you'll get a verification letter soon.
