Citi Double Cash CLI question - soft pull available

My 6th statement was yesterday. I have an available SP CLI online. In two weeks I'll have 3 or 4 hard iquiries fall off my report. Will it matter if I wait for them to fall off or should I go for the soft pull CLI right now? Thanks.

also need advise on Discover It CLI. Soft pull CLI available. I want to join the Discover party, will the 3/4 inquieries falling off improve my chances? Got denied 2 weeks ago for not using It enough. Just charged $400 to it. Thanks everyone.

It depends on your file and how much the inquiries impact the scoring system they use if applicable. If I were in your shoes (or socks), I'd wait until they fall off since its relatively close for best results.

3/26 Got Discover CLI $4k to $5k

4/28 I got the same 'not using it enough' message (had never charged one thing, only kept rolling in BT's at 0%)

Charged a meal and bought some stuff through the deals portal at Macy's

5/12 (just after a payment posted) got CLI $5k to $6k

If that was your message, I'd say you may get it. But you may get MORE if you wait.

I would wait u til they fall off and make sure they do another SP after the inquiries fall off before you request. That would probably be your best bet to get the max

Thank you everyone! I was thinking on requesting now and again in 2 weeks on Discover. But I guess I'll wait. Definitely waiting in CitDC. Will update when I hit those luv buttons. Going to be a long 2 weeks. I will also be apping for Sallie Mae MC when those inquiries fall off.

Well, I doubled check my report. It looks like only 2 pulls are falling off in June. The other two are not till July (even though they're dated May 31??) I can wait one more month for CLI on DC, hopefully they auto cli me before I request. I don't know If I can wait one more month for Sallie Mae. Been buying a lot of georceries latley at 3% cash back when I can be getting 5%. I'll wait one more week before I decide.
