Citi Double Cash DENIED!!!

Got instant denial online yesterday from citi double cash.....any advice on what to say when I call in to EO office to recon? Thanks!

I'd suggest first waiting on the denial letter. I know with the best buy denial I had they wouldn't even talk to me about it until I had the reference# - unless the website gave you a ref# online. Keep in mind citi EO recons are hit or miss it's a YMMV type deal with citi (unlike barclays and chase who are a bit more reasonable to recon).

Spoke with credit analyst....she asked some basic questions and said they would manually review it an contact me by phone within 2 days with decision. Fingers crossed!

Best of luck with the recon. Like someone else said, Citi EO is very hit or miss, so glad you got a good response that they are willing to give it a second look.

Thanks everyone! She asked for a reference number but I didnt recall seeing one when I appd. She was very nice and we had a good conversation. She said she would personally call me back when they make a decision. Wont be surprised if im declined, but at least they are taking a second look.

Yup iuf they are taking a second look I would say you have a fair chance. Otherwise, they would have refused you right then.
