So I just got a letter in the mail for the Citi Double Cash Card. I've been wanting this card for a while and I;ve been in the garden for close to a year now. Trying to get my utilization below 15%. Based on my fico scores below, should I hold off for now? APR is kind of high at 21.99
I'm currently at 667 EX 656 TU 658 EQ.

Question for you...is that rate what's quoted on your letter or from the pre-qual site?
The reason I ask is because I received a "Thank You" pre-qual letter. It was over 20%. I was a little excited that they sent me a letter because I figured that meant I was on their radar. I popped over to Citi and played with the pre-qual. My offers came back at 14.79% for three of them and 15.24% for the other two. I mulled it over for a couple of weeks before pulling the trigger and landing the Double Cash at a $3100 SL. My #s at the time of apping earlier this week were EX 741, TU 762, and EQ 764 with around 21% Util reporting.
One thing I learned from another thread is that the lower the interest rate, the better the odds of approval with a higher limit. Also I learned on here that Citi is rather conservative with their SLs. Hope this helps some.
Citi Dc has terrible CL to start. I got one cli at 5 months and another at 10 months. Now its decent but cant wait for next time.
