I have been pre qualified at the Citi site for various cards for awhile with high APR's, but received a mailer for the Diamond preferred for a way low APR.
Do not need a cash back card or rewards, but a long 0% deal for large purchase, and possible balance transfers. 21 months is sweet.
The mailer has me at 13.24%. Is that a good sign for a high starting CL, like Cap One etc..? This is a bust with a low SL and a probable double pull.

While the lower APR is a good sign I don't know that it necessarily will reflect a larger starting limit but it can't hurt. I think more will be determined by your existing limits, income and general limits given out with that card. Might check the credit boards database and see what limits were given out for scores similar to yours. Keep in mind with Citi that you don't have to limit yourself just to cards that show as prequalified. Not once have I been prequalified for any of their cards and I have some decent limits with them so make sure you apply for the card that you really want.

Thanks Irish. Good Advice. Is it a given that Citi double pulls?
I checked the credit boards Irish. Some good info, wish it was more current though. Thanks Again
