Is anyone else having issues with the Citi prequal site today? I have been checking the citi prequal site frequently for the last 3 months and always had results. Today I received: "we couldn't match your records to a Pre-Qualified credit card offer."
It's working just fine for me, no offers as usual

That response does not mean the site is not working. It just means they couldn't match you with any of their cards after soft pulling your reports. Did your credit reports change?

No, there haven't been any big changes on my reports over the last few months. The only change is that my discover CL went from $2.5k to $6.5k a month ago but that shouldn't be the reason. FICO scores have been 730 +/- 5 over the last 4 months.
I never had any luck with the Citi prequal site. It always told me nothing was available. Expecting to be denied, I cold apped and got approved anyway. Not sure how accurate it is.
I guess I will cold app in the fall as well if the offer doesn't come back. Not like it really mattered, the prequal offers in the past always had the highest possible APRs lol.
If you have limited inquiries, good income and nice scores then I say go for the gold and cold app. I was only pre-qualed on their site (sporadically) for the regular Hilton Card, Premier and DC. One day I just cold apped for the Prestige and got instant approval. Citi's pre-qual is shaky from other posts I've read so it all depends how daring you're feeling.
I'm able to get prequal offers again.. lol. I wonder what changed within a week..
I went from getting good APR in May, to ranges, to no matches at all, to back to best APR last month, so got the AAdvantage card at that point.
And the Citi Prestige is probably not so difficult to get, because they want to sign you up for the AF. The trick is whether the APR is good or not.
edit: And now today, after getting the AAdvantage exactly a month ago at 13.99%, I'm back to "Couldn't match you with any offers" when I check "not sure" about the type of card I'm interested in.

Hehehe. Does not mean it is not working. Means something changed on your report? Did you accept previous offer with them? or open up any other cards. Where the inquiries changed on your report. This is usually what you will get after doing that. I did the same as you. always got everything coming up. A week after getting my Double Cash Card. I get the message you are getting now. So no. The site is not Down. they just can't pre qualify. Does not mean you would not get approved if you applied.
