As far as im aware i believe the Costco Visa is a retail division card hence why i got in after 2yrs post bk

It's a legacy card. It's on the main website.
Retail cards are not, such as Best Buy and Home Depot etc.
This may be why you were denied.

I'm curious how this turned out, if you dont mind sharing.  I'm 5.5+yrs post BK, never had a Citi card, and am trying to decide if I should go for the sure thing with a secured or if I might be in the territory where I can get a legacy?  Anyhow, I'd like to find out what their reason for denying you was.  Thanks again for sharing this information.

Sure the reason i was denied was because my bank did not release the funds due to a security reason i guess. Not because of my bk and i was barely over 2yrs discharge.
