Citi keeps denying me for an increase.. their only reasoning too many inquiries on equifax. Ready to laugh ? I have ZERO inquiries.
Bummer. Interesting, wonder where you're both getting the information... seems one of you is misinformed.
A bummer for sure, I'd say. But I'd probably recommend giving them a buzz to find out why that may be.
Best of luck!

When you say 0, is that 0 in 2 years or 0 because none of them are scored any longer?
They are defo misinformed, myequifax shows 0 inquiries, and myfico shows 0 inquiries, maybe they dont like the fact that my limit is 44K? who knows lol, they have a name that I cant use here
literally 0 on file.
I'm sure there's another reason in play, but unfortunately creditors only have to provide "a reason", not all reasons or factors that played into the denial.

Doesn't even have to ultimately be a "valid" reason.
Also "because we don't like you" is either not allowed or not politically correct.
LMFAO, I think im going to close my Simplicity with a swiftness when i am done using that bank..... next august or spetember. They gave me a LOW SL and I used every bit of it, so they dont like me, I dont care for megabanks unless you are going to benefit my poor middle class as+ somehow, I will use you as much as I can and be done. they got $255 from me and thats all theyll see.
I am Interested in the AA Executive card though as I want to travel more and im close to Philly now, and heard it is Incredible with the 10x miles.... yikes...
Must remember that im not getting a card to only change my spending behavior.
Citi is one of the weirdest banks that issued a CC to me. They rejected my applications for several years on multiple cards, with several ridiculous or incorrect reasons like yours. One time on the phone, they were saying that one inquiry sometimes can be also too many
Just move on and do not waste your time on their reasons. I have two of their core cards (CCC/DC) and one co-branded (SYW). I do prefer to minimize my exposure to them and work with more reliable lenders.
