Citi prestige / premier approval odds

Was approved 9 days ago for Citi aa with an EX score of 740 Since then a 20k Fidelity card has reported and score is now 745.. 5 inquiries in the last six months. Really want the prestige for the travel rewards because 2020 will be the year for traveling.. whats the chances for getting a second citi card 9 days after the 1st card. tried to use the pre qualify but there is a fraud alert on the report so i will be going in blind.

Assuming the AA card is the only one you've applied for so far with Citi the 8/65 rule will let you get another (8 days since last app, 65 days no more than two apps at a time). Everything else is up to Citi and your scores/reports

Yes I only have just the one citi app.. I guess I will read up a little more and make a decision. I will post results whenever I do apply

Don’t see a problem I appd for 4 all approved January 17,21,25, and February 1st 2019 All approvals. My EQ had no prior apps but EX had 1.
