So, I'm an AAA member. I have been deluged in mail and email that I am "Pre Approved" for an AAA Signature Visa Credit Card. I read and re-read all the fine print at least 3 times but see no asterisks or anything that says "pre-approved, but if....blah blah blah".
I did notice they don't have a firm interest rate. It says it's either this or it's that.
Searched online and found the minimum starter CL for this card is $5,000.00. Supposedly.
The thing is I went BK on 2 Comenity cards about 15-months ago, but from what I read online, Comenity can be forgiving. IDK.
Wondering if anyone has any insight or experience with Comenity/Bread AAA Visa. Thanks!

I have the Comenity AAA Travel Advantage Visa. I think it's a great card.
I'm not knowledgeable about their underwriting or about their attitude towards past bankruptcy. I can only say that when I got approved my scores were at their lowest ebb in many years, and my utilization was at its highest point ever.

It's profile dependent as always, but I did squeak in with a $1k starting line right when I started taking my credit seriously (EX: ~630ish) if that helps.
At the time there were 11 erroneous 60+ day delinquencies that were later removed

I don't have their Comenity/Bread AAA Visa, but I do have the Bread Cash Back AmEx and thier Petco Mastercard that I both got within the last 6 weeks. I had a couple of Comenity cards that got burned in my BK7 back in July of '21 and when I cold app'ed for the AmEx I was approved with a $4500 limit, which I was both surprised and happy about because I really wanted that card. So I got both of these cards right around 2 years post discharge, so they were BK friendly for me. But of course as always, YMMV.

I was approved for the Comenity AAA Signature Visa about 21 months post-DC. I was approved for 5K instantly, and this came just a COUPLE days after a 7K instant approval for the Bread Cashback Amex. I had never had a Comenity card before. My scores were all just over 700.
Do you have to be a AAA member to apply for this card??

You do not need to be a member

The link Comenity sent takes me to a page which asks for my AAA Membership # and states it's required. This is why I said membership is required.
