I want to apply for a new credit card and want to keep everything on the up and up as far as my income. My question is, do I put the income I received over the last 12 months? So add up from say June 2019 to June 2020 and put that amount? Or do I have to put what I think my income will be for all of 2020?
This same question applies to updating my income on my current credit cards. (It has increased since my last updated amount)
Backstory- My income over the past 12 months will be more than I anticipate for my total in 2020 but it is possible it could be the same. I really don't know but I want to keep it as accurate as possible.
Depends on the level and increase in income IMO. For Amex and Discover it'd be best to put what you can properly back up will be in case they hit you with a 4506T request.
