This is what I got from discover, tried for curiosity. I'm assuming this is not a good pre-qual?

0% Intro APR* for 14 months on purchases.

Then 11.74% 23.74% Standard Variable Purchase APR applies.

3% fee for each balance transfer.

It's not. Sorry.

With that said, I wasn't prequalified either. Applied anyway. Approved.

I don't get prequalified for US Bank, so it's probably solid if you do IMHO.

Re: Credit Card Pre-Qualification Links

Anyone get the Home Depot pre-qual to work? I keep getting 'server error'  Just curious about it.

Ok credit, getting better.....slowly.... Can't seem to stay in the Garden for any extended period of time. I'm trying. Mid to upper 600's across the board.

Re: Credit Card Pre-Qualification Links

Home depot prequal worked for me... offers me a HD card, a year after ch13 discharge...
I prefer Lowes, and don't want a new card right now.

Re: Credit Card Pre-Qualification Links

In the years I have applied for credit cards, what I notice about prequalifications is that if they give you a fix APR, it's a solid prequal. It's not 100% but has worked for me most of the time.

I got the nRewards Secured ($1000) on 18 Jan 2017 and I got the Cash Rewards ($9300) on 6 March 2017.  My score went up almost 100 points in the meantime, though, so I'm probably not typical.  Still not sure what possesed me to apply, haha!  I had a few things fall off my EQ report, including a public record.  I also got the full $15k CLOC around that time too (March).  I hit a rough patch back in 2010-2011, so it's all aging out now, so I'm seeing huge upswings.  The 5th statement of the secured card is about to print, really hoping it graduates and they give a nice CLI (I've heard of other people graduating after 5 statements).   And yet, there's something that Discover is seeing that they don't like (10 statements now).  My total util is 15%  Upper 600s across the board.
