Credit Cards during Chapter 13

Good morning everybody! Texas Bob here. I'm new to the forum and I've enjoyed reading everyone's posts. Here I'm in the middle of a Chapter 13, 5 year plan. I filed in June of 2013 and scheduled to get discharged June of 2018. Since I filed, I've been able to obtain a few new credit cards to try to re-establish my credit. I was able to get the OpenSky secured card ($200) without a credit check. I did get a First National Bank of Omaha secured card (Hard pull) and it graduated to an Unsecured card (credit line remained $300 and the annual fee was dropped to zero) after 9 months, an Armed Forces Bank secured card ($300, no credit check since I have a checking account there), a Credit One Bank (Unsecured, $300 and then a $100 increase with no fee a few months later) which I'm thinking about closing since there isn't a grace period, a Bank of America secured for $300, and just got approved for a Discover IT unsecured card with an $800 limit. Are there any other credit cards that are easy to get approved for amid a Chapter 13? I was denied for Capital One, since they said I still owe them money, denied the Barclay's Apple card since I charged off with them in 2009,  and was also denied for a Marathon Visa. Some say Fingerhut is easy to get but I'm not interested in them. If there's any credit cards that I don't know about that'll approve me please let me know.

Try the Texaco/Chevron Gas card from Synchrony. Gas cards are generally pretty easy to get, as are (store version) Macy's, and some say Walmart are pretty easy to get. I don't know what bank's they use though so do some research into those to make sure they're not people you have burned in the past. Smiley Happy

Active Cards: Chevron Texaco, Amex BCE, Barclays Ring, Chase Freedom, Chase Freedom Unlimited, Best Buy Visa, Marvel MCMust garden until 2/1/2022 to hit my goal AAOA. Smiley Indifferent

Re: Credit Cards during Chapter 13

You don't need anymore to reestablish your credit.

3 is plenty and you have more.

I would also get rid of the Credit One as it's expensive and you have better cards.
