Credit One blacklist????

I was messing around on this website that did credit card pre-approvals with a soft pull. I entered my info for each bank including Credit One even though I have no use for a card like that today. I got a message that I couldnt be approved due to a charge off with Credit One. Seriously?? I had a charge off over ten years ago back when they were First National Bank of Marin. How can a card that low on the totem pole think they need to keep a black list? Who do they think they are? Amex?

Credit One caters to the super-sub-prime market, but even then, can't blame them for being unwilling to lend to someone who'd already bit their hand.

Yes Credit One Blacklists like crazy! My mom had a account with them 5 years ago that was charged off. She filed BK last year. I ran her through the prequalifier and the pop up said she was not pre approved because of the charged off account. The sad thing is if you ask my mom if she ever had a credit one card she will tell you no because she thinks it was a capital one card!!! She did has a capital one card years ago with a limit of about $1000 thats currently listed on her CR as a judgement but she also had a $300 credit one card that got charged off. I have been helping her with her credit since her BK and thats why I know it was a credit one and not a capital one

Oh no! black listed from Credit One? that's it for you, no other credit card companies will want you now. your credit life is over.

I think you should count your blessing, because you won't be mailed to death with their pre-approval letters. I applied for one of those to stop pre-app letters, and yet somehow credit one still come in once in a while.

Lol I would tell no one I'm on credit ones blacklist. But I understand. For heaven sake they're credit one.

I find it funny because although I still have a First Premier Bank card from when I first started rebuilding at this point I would never open an account with a sub-prime lender. I feel like I should be the one denying them. Not the other way around lol.

Creadit One Bank is a bank to saty awaty from. They charge out of the world annula fees and more fess. I never held a card thru them and never will. I pre approved for there cards but i have prime cards in my wallet including a Chase Freedom and a Chase Slate Card both with 500 do;lalrs limits. I have 2 US Bank cards with 1000 and 2000 dollars. I have a BOA Better Balences rewards 2000 dollar limit. I have a Citi Foreward Visa Signature card 1500 dollar limit. Wal mart card 750 dollar limit. Captal one journey card my oldest account 300 dollar limit. Try for any other card but creadit one bank
