Credit Steps

my fifth statement cut yesterday for my QS1 MC. When will my CLI come? Is it usually just what they say or is there a chance you can get more? I already got a big win on the 61 day trick thanks to this forum went from 1k to 3k.

I just received my automatic one on the same day that my 6th statement cut, not the 5th.  I think it's after 5 on time payments, which would be official at the time of the 6th statement.  You can request a CLI earlier and then also get the credit steps increase. That didn't work for me because they always denied my requests due to some  baddies still on my reports but a lot people have luck getting two increases in the first 6 months this way.   I say go ahead and give it a shot.  Good Luck!

request one before your 6th and the 6th youre supposed to get a credit steps cli automatically (apparently)

but OP just got the 61 day CLI. i haven't seen anyone get 3 CLIs within 6 statements on credit steps. i have seen people get a CLI at midpoint and again at 6th statement

OP- it seems like most members get the auto CLI from steps on their 6th statement but customer service says the auto CLI will be applied anytime between the 6-7th statement

I got my first one for 2 cards after 6 weeks or so and even got platinum upgraded to QS but now I can't get an increase for them "your credit line was recently change" gotta wait till 6 or 7th statement which is close
