Credit card app -- no response at all?

I have three credit cards that I've had for a while. I've been trying lately to pay them down, but I'm having trouble coming up with more than the minimum payments, so I thought of applying for another card that had 0% interest for balance transfers for 15+ months to give me some help. I applied for a Chase card through Credit Karma last Wednesday night. Credit Karma reports my credit in the Good range, and the card I applied for they claimed I had an Excellent chance of being approved for. To date, I have not heard anything at all, good or bad. Shouldn't I hear something from them either way? I'm not sure what my next steps should be

Check the application status line with Chase and see what it has to say with regards to your app. At the very least you should have received an email from them informing you they received your application so if you haven't had any communication since submitting it I would look into it.

Just FYI, take CKs suggestions with a grain of salt. Their suggestions are really a marketing tool and they get a percentage (payment) of approvals. It’s always best to go to the CCs website

you’re interested in and check their prequal page before applying.

As @simplynoir suggested, check application status line and GL2U.

Definitely call Chase. A total lack of notification almost sounds like the app didn’t go through.

Re: Credit card app -- no response at all?

Chase did the same to me. Never heard a thing, calling in got me a 7-10 day message, after just short of 30 I called a human and they said they had no record of it. Yet I had the HP to prove it. At the end of the day I was over 5/24 which I'm sure was the reason, but I never, ever got more than crickets from Chase.
