I.E checked to see if i prequalified 30 days ago and didn't recieve any offers, The following month alot changes on your CR. are they still seeing the data from the original prequalifing attempt? 30,60,90 days?

Thanks!

Since no one replied I will give it a shot. I have read that some do hold earlier pulls for a period and that sometimes your browser may need to be cleared (or use a different browser) to get a fresh look. I did experience success when app'ing one acct

Re: Credit info

I just applied to cap 1 and got denied for the venture... ughhhh... as i have 2 quicksilver accts i thought why not apply. Well the rep told me if something changes on my report im welcome to reapply.. another hit... on each bureau... btw. Cap 1 hits all 3 bureaus.

So yes when something changes for the bettet like a bk falling off or collections, something major and your score jumps you can reapply, but one thing i found out is they also want to see your score stay in a certain range for awhile so they know your not bouncin all over the place.

How about throwing some of your data up here so others can jump in and offer you some sage advice.

1. Your TRUE FICO8 scores.

2. Any baddies

3. Dates of old info

4. Types of old bad info (medical, CO's, BK's, ect)

It was the number of inquires and new accounts along  with the tax lien that got you the denial.Trust when it drops off you will be approved.Alot of inquiries a Bk and tax lien hurts your scores.I had 2 Bk's and a tax lien one Bk fell off and got a tax lien withdrawal and bam got in the door with Amex Cap 1 and Barclays for great SL.You will pick up points once that lien drops and inquiries drop.Samething happened to me time will heal it.If you got a good limit with discover,Amex,Barclays don't worry about Cap1.They are nice but won't change your Apr others will.I pay no mind to my 17.9% Apr cause I always pay off and carry little balance !
