DCU CLI.....Soft or Hard Pull?

Does anyone know if DCU uses a soft or hard pull for credit line increase requests?

To my understanding, user request will be a HP Hard Pull.

It will be an HP on Equifax, unless you have a pre-approval in the loan center. There are quarterly offers that appear for different loan products, including CLI on cards.

Pre-approved will say Approved, take offer. That will be SP. If you don't have offer, wording just says Apply.

Thanks for the additional info. I checked the website and it only says "apply". I don't need any hard pulls right now so maybe in late 2021.

Be sure to check again early next month as they normally refresh their quarterly offers in early January/April/July/October.

@coldfusion  I opened the account in October, got the Visa Platinum and sat 1k in savings. I've used the card a couple times and PIF without reporting a balance. Is there anything else I should be doing to see the SP offers pop up?

Not really, just keep on doing what you've been doing.  I think I had been a member for about 8 months when offers started popping up.
