You are rebuilding. Take what you can get and let it grow. Relax and don't let emotion cause you to cancel a card just because it isn't IMMEDIATELY what you wanted.

Not really "rebuilding" anymore. Rebuilders typically don't get CLs of $7700, and a total of over $15k in a few days. . When I hear rebuilding I think high 500s, low 600s scores. I'm way past that. I suppose in a sense I'm still in that bracket but barely.
You have to admit that it is completely off compared to other approvals -- especially with other prime lenders. Amex especially ! Just don't get it.
I know you feel this approval is "unfair" but creditors don't simply match limits that you just recieved. You seem to have a real lack of patience. "Rebuilding" doesn't end just because you got a few good approvals.
You have to just be patient and let things grow. Rebuilding is a process.
Discover gave me my 1st card for $500 with all aus on my file last December via a prescreened letter but as you can see in my siggy 11 months later my limit sits at $1300. And then when I hit the cli button it wants permission to pull my credit. No way.
I wish someone who works in their credit analyst department could come on here incognito and explain to us their credit granting criteria.
They should have at least given you $1500.
