Decided to call Citi DSNB Macy's just to see..

Alright, I know that $25k is the maximum you can get through soft pulls online.. and in January I attempted to ask for $10k more to bring me to $35k. Citi only did a soft inquiry, but denied my request ultimately.

So, after hyping myself up I called the "extra backoor, backoor" (8669338474) do not call that number without researching it first, never trust a stranger with a number you don't know that requires you to give up personal information.

Reached someone, she was really nice and I explained to her that I wanted to know if she would be able to increase my limit from $25,000 to $35,000 (need a little extra padding if I have to use one of my personal cards for home repairs). After being on hold for a good 15 minutes, I'm assuming she called someone because she kept referring to them as Senior Analysts. Who informed her to tell me that it would require a hard inquiry to go beyond $25k. I politely thanked her for her hard work and closed the book on that chapter.

I mean, if you're looking for padding, what's a HP?  Though, keep in mind that aside from the HP, they can also request POI for anything >$25K.
