Decided to poke the bear - Mixed results

My Uber Visa card cut sixth statement last week so I decided its time to poke the bear that is Barclays. Called in and asked if I had any APR reduction offers on my card. The rep came back saying I do have an offer that reduces my APR to 18% from 22% permanently. I gladly accepted it. Then came the tricky part, asked if I had any SP CLI offers but nope nope. The rep said its gonna be a HP, I said no thanks!

Anyways, happy with the apr reduction for now. Any ideas on when I can try for the SP CLI again?

With your profile I'm surprised you didnt get one. Are you using it much because if so just take the hp and get the amount you need.

The requests (SP APR reduction and CLI) were initiated from me - I consider that poking with Barclays lol

Thanks AJC! Well, you never know with Barclays, I'm happy with the APR reduction for now. I've been using it around 20-30% (Put most of my spend here) so I don't think its worth taking a HP if I'm not going beyond 30%.
