Oh jeesh. I had a plan, now I am all over. Too many cards to choose from! And hoping for high SL's which is throwing me off.
Once my Navy Plat shows its cli, I want to get Amex BCP as I am a huge grocery shopper (Publix) and the 6% is awesome. I am leaning toward Discover It for its match and I have set apr mail offers, but don't know if I want to deal with catagories just yet, don't eat out and only warehouse I shop is Costco so I am limited to groceries and gas with it pretty much. Am a big Costco shopper so Citi costco was in the mix, but now I am wondering if I go with a 2nd Navy in the Cash Rewards if I would get a great SL. Only have 1 HP total from this cli and it is on Equifax. I am wanting to save a spot for FU in December when my most recent 30 day late (branch error they won't fix) turns a year old. I also think I will have a better profile to capture it at a decent SL since they dislike cli's. No new cards in 3 years. Scores dropped with the hp, but Eq 669, Tu 656, Ex 658. Hoping for the drop to be countered when NFCU finally reports in. AAOA 9 years. Bankrate 8 scores 676, 673, 672. Slightly worried about opening to many new accounts at one time. Next spring I want to look at getting a new car and eventually a new house so I don't want to do anything that I will regret down the road, but want functional, usable cards and max fico points.
