Hi - If I apply for a Dell Preferred Account, does anyone know on which credit report the inquiry will show up? Thanks!
They pulled EXP.
Ron.
They pulled Experian for me. But a word of advice: Don't apply unless you're ready to purchase soon. They'll close your account with a quickness if you don't use it. I don't think mine was open for even six months, and they closed it.

Good to know.. I didn't know that.

Not necesarily. I haven't used mine since 2008 and it's still listed as open. I asked about a CLI and they said they don't do those anymore and suggested that I combine with another card if I needed to.
It was kind of an odd chat.

Exactly...I never used mine, and it's not unusual for them to close your account, if you don't use it shortly after you open it. I'm not talking about using it once, and not using it again for awhile.
I've had 2k since 2009. Used once in 2009 to buy a $1600 computer. Haven't used since and still active. However, does anyone know if I can get a CLI on this type of account? I want to get a more expensive newer computer. I could pay for it but why not get 0% financing? But I need a cli.
