Denied Amex and Discover CLI

Should I call these guys for recon? Amex since June 30 th Discover 30 days. Discover said unable to increase at this time. Amex 7-10 day! 

Any suggestions?

You didnt wait 61 days for the 3X CLI. Thats your issue. Accounts are new. What is your scores and UTI look like. I would NOT recon a CLI request.

What is June 30th? If thats when you opened your AMEX then it is not past 61 days. Unless you meant 2014?

Gotcha. What your scores like? Any babbies? lots of new accts? Maxed out CCs? Late payments? ETC.

There is no longer a 3x 61 day cli. Op can app for cli as soon as they receive card. If denied. It's just a denial. Then 90 days after that you can try again. If it was June 30th. It will be September 30th before you are eligible again there are no short cuts. Discover is every 90 days. At least from account opening or last approved.  your last approved cli. If denied. You can keep trying. But no one knows when  they will approve. So of us have gotten them . Many of us every 16 days. Buttstbgravytrain lefties tattoo 2 months ago.

I was denied my first attempt at the Amex 3x CLI as well. I tried at activation and I wish I would have waited until I had more history with them. If you're new to Amex, or were approved with a very low limit, I think it's best to wait 61 days or more before trying that way there is time for them to see your spending and payment patterns.
