Hi on approval for Exxon Mobil last night, I apped for Double Cash.
Called CSR to recon, and he couldn't give me any great specifics, or a recon so decided to call EO for recon today.
Accidentally called banking EO (oops - that 866 number in backdoor thread), and a very nice man there connected me with CC EO office (the 605 number in Backdoor thread).
I spoke to lovely person there who asked about a couple of issues on my reports and I explained how awesome my life is going, and why the double cash would be great for me!
She said I should hear back in 4 days or less, so hear's to hoping! I'm not expecting much, but it was the nicest CSR/EO experience I've encountered.
Update: I DID NOT get approved on RECON...

I too spoke with someone in the Citi EO's office and was astounded by the CS. Definitely top notch!

Good luck with the Citi recon. You took the hard pull and it never hurts to try until the end. I hope you get it. Double Cash is a great card to have.
