Denied, Reconsidered and recommended for approval, then denied again

So I'm at technically 6/24, however the two cards have not started reporting yet.

I went ahead and applied for the Chase Freedom Unlimited card and was initially denied because of 5/24. However, I was able to reconsider because I was technically at 4/24 in cards under my name while others were AU cards. The credit analyst then later recommended me for approval and was pending notification approval from a second analyst.

I called today and found out that it has been denied again because of too many inquiries (they pulled EX where I have 6). He said at this point it's just declined. He also said because it was sent off for "sign off" but denied, then it's just declined.

Should I call again for another CSR and try to reconsider again? Or what?

Sorry to hear.  You can try but a CSR is not going to be able to help you.  Unfortunately, if it has been denied a second time, the decision won't change as Chase is very different in handling these matters.

I think I should just stick with what I have, at least for the next two years. Unless someone has been through this and ended up with positive results.

Yes, you should. Chase has tighten the purse strings.
