Score is 727, they ran TransUnion (thought they pulled Experian) ended up getting denied due too too many inquiries (8 which 5 are all from the dealership in which I got my truck even though I told them I was pre approved) and then was told serious delinquency on a 7 year old closed account paid in full which they saw, balances are all really low utilization only @ %14 total for all cards, should I just take a shot @ another chase card? Or just leave it?
Did you get the denial letter in the mail onlynot did you also attempt a recon call as well?
I called the recon # and was denied after 45 mins on the phone of a second review
**bleep** 45 min?
I think a lot of this is covid related.
You left out part/most of your data point on that report. Here is what I see:
- Score
- delinquency (7 yr old)
You left out:
- The list of your accounts
- Dates on your HPs
- Negative Marks
etc.
Chances are the if you do apply again, it will be another HP and can result in the same denial. If you want some help, I suggest listing off everything on your report to find the best help. Most people would probably say to wait 6 months to try again depending on your data points.
Thanks, the hard pulls for the auto inquiries were from April I thought they would all count as one but I guess I'm wrong according to chase, but it's funny I'm a AU on a Chase SW card already for a 28,000 limit ( just wanted my own). As for the delinquency they had asked about it and I just admitted in was younger and dumber 😂 but I have rebounded to the 700s. One Inquiry is form last year Cap One and another from May Apple. Sw is 17 years old, AU Cap ones , 3 years, My Cap ones 2 years, care credit April this year, Apple May this Year, BB&T May this year SP, Apple has not shown up yet on CR.
Chase SW AU 28,000 limit only using %5 of card
3 Cap ones AU two 750 limits and one 1600 limit all @ 0 but Cap one 1600 has a balance of 1000
Care Credit 3500 Limit 1000 balance
Apple Card 500 limit 0 balance
BB&T 5,500 limit 300 balance
Cap One Qs and Qs one 750 limit on both balance 0
Credit One 750 limit 0 balance
Maybe but I was sure I just about had it approved when he verified everything @ the last min
The starting issue is that now Chase has a minimum of 700 for any credit card. This means that at 720ish you are scraping approval. After that you do have many HP's which is concerning but the Auto financing explains some of it but not all. There are also plenty of new accounts as I can safely count 4 if not more in 2 years. Chase goes by accounts so it does not matter if BB&T does an SP to open since once it reports open it is counted. Lastly you have a lot of cards with small limits and at least one with ridiculous utilisation. If I was a Bank I would not like that kind of profile either as it screams credit seeker in the middle of a pandemic. I recommend closing the Credit One, paying down the Capital One, and asking Capital One for more credit for both you + the AU. The Care Credit also has a elevated utilisation but not as horrible as Capital One.
