Different CRA for different app way?

So if you get EX pulled for Citi (this is just an example) and you live in CA-but so and so gets EQ pulled cuz they live in TX-I'm wondering if there is a way to get them to pull a different CRa. Like if you call and the call center is located in OH will it pull whatever CRA OH uses? Or is it always based on where you live or who they use.

I hope this is making sense.

Basically if I know company A uses TU when I app online-would it be any different if I called and had the CSR take the app over the phone?

Your question makes sense but it is based on where you live. So if a call center is based in OH and you live in CA, they will pull whatever they pull for your state.  You can't tell them what to pull when you call..

 

The only way is to freeze the report [ That is not encouraged here so I am just mentioning to answer your question].  Even that - freezing does not work sometimes as some lenders will ask you to unfreeze your report so that they can pull.

Ok. Thx. I knew about the way on here we aren't supposed to talk about... (cuz I thought it was a joke when I got scolded) but was hoping the calling in to app might be a way. A) my EX Score is my lowest and B) I have to pay to freeze and unfreeze each time-both reasons suck. Smiley Happy
