Dinerrs Club applications????

So I was bored tonight and decided to call Diners to see if I had any offers.  Diners doesn't have any offers and the only offers that could come out would have to be generated by the customer (i.e. cli).  I asked the csr if they had any timeframe when they would be accepting new applications.  The csr said all they were told is Fall 2015 but no specific date.  I know they have continued to push this timeframe out and out.  Not that it matters to me since I have two of their cards and don't think I'm allowed to have anymore.  Thought this might be helpful to some who missed the bonanza last year.

Re: Dinerrs Club applications????

And a couple weeks ago when I spoke with another BMO source they were not sure if they would reopen their "portals" by year-end so I suppose folks would just have to wait and see.

Should one like me avoid the forums for the 2 weeks following them re-opening apps? Lol.

I know they have different versions of the cards, which one is good for someone not wealthy?

There's only two versions but it doesn't really matter.  The chances of them reopening applications is slim to none

Re: Dinerrs Club applications????

It is so interesting that the chances of the Dinners Club cards being available to the public to apply for are slim to none. I thought in the business world, if you did just as well as you did last year, this year... then you failed. How can they stop themselves from growing but keep on being successful?

Re: Dinerrs Club applications????

I don't know but I'm glad I got in when I did thanks to the boards. Maybe they feel that this is enough exposure for them at this moment in time.
