I keep an excel spreadsheet of my Openings, CLIs, and CLI Attmpets. It's a bad habit
I got upset when Overstock stopped giving me monthly CLIs. Also can't get AmEx to budge off that $500 Credit Limit. Barclay on the other hand gave me an Auto CLI EXACTLY at the 6 month mark from $2k to $3.8k. I'm hoping for another AUTO CLI in April. Am I wishing too hard?
I want my CLIs... And I want them NOW!!!

I started with the $1k rewards card, and so far I've been able to call in after applying for a new card to get a CLI (they'll use the same pull/soft pull after a new card for CLI). Never had an auto-cli with them before, but applying for a few cards and calling in to request CLI's it's grown to $10k over my 3 cards with them in the last 2 years.
you mean applying for new Barclay cards or applying for any card?
New Barclay card. Just recently I applied for my 4th (Wyndham Rewards), and they required that I move CL over from another card (chose my NFL Visa) in order to open it. Called back in later that day for a CLI, asked for $2500 and approved via the same credit pull. Last year when I opened my NFL and US Airways, I had never received a CLI on my rewards (only card with them at the time) but between CLI and new cards, my overall limits went from $1k > $7.5k ($2.5k approval on NFL, CLI to $5k on rewards, used half to open US Airways).
