Interesting. First time I have seen verbiage that says cash back match is not available to existing customers.
ETA: actually, I believe that is saying that existing customers not opening a new card aren't eligible for match. I have the same verbiage on my Miles card and I got the match in addition to the $100 referral credit.

About your Miles card's referal bonus, did you use your Miles to refer others or did you use a referal link to open your Miles?

I used a referral link to open my Miles. Apparently Disco will still pay you for opening the card but the person who referred you won't get credit if you already have a Discover card. Since it was a link I found online and gave no indication that I used it, whoever posted it wouldn't miss anything either way.
