Disco CLI

Hey all -

I've been with Disco now for about 6 months now without an CLI.  I hit the button a few times but denied.  I only have a small $500 limit.  Carried a balance every once in a while but usually pay in full.  Currently have a zero balance. I was wondering it would be beneficial to call to ask for an increase instead of hitting the love button and getting denied again.  Anyone have any luck with this?

TIA

Re: Disco CLI

Well, I can tell from your CL you were borderline approved for the card.

Not knowing the bigger picture of your credit profile makes it difficult to send you in the right direction though.

Hitting the CLI option doesn't hurt since it's a SP either way.  If your profile has improved significantly since approval then a call to their lending group might increase your odds at a higher CL but, if not, then just hit the button every 3-6 months to check.

Re: Disco CLI

If this is a secured card, CLI's typically aren't granted until after the 7th statement.

Re: Disco CLI

Too much utilization.  Paid everything down and will try at the end of the cycle.
