My 19 year old son applied for a Discover secured card yesterday. It said his credit score was approved (it was 600 from the free Discover site) and accepted the $200 deposit information from his bank. The final screen said it was up for review and he would get a response in 2-3 business days.
Would this indicate normal protocol in processing the application, or a standard response for a pending denial?
