Thanks so much!
My posts are sometimes 'lengthy' but hopefully the details will be useful to somebody later on.

Thanks Pizza1!
I've received the benefit of many data points provided here by others, so I try to contribute when I can.
See UncleB, exactly what I was talking about with Discover. Your scores are much higher than mine, I make 50k and cl is 34,600. Had card since 12/14 and also only have 2 other cards both at 25k. I love them but for the life of me don't get them. I do use them like a debit card for everything, several auto pays to charities and utilities. Congratulations, the next one will even be bigger!

Discover is indeed a strange bird! They are one of the very few lenders that I read up about on here yet I still can't get a good "feel" for how they will react when it comes to starting lines, CLIs, and APRs. Thankfully they do seem to be consistent with lowering APRs (or extending the promotional rate), and for most people CLIs come fairly easy as well.
It's looking like the Magic 8 Ball is about as good at predicting their behavior as anything else... in any case, I'm pleased with how they're treating me, and with a little 'luck' my relationship with them will continue to be a positive one for us both.
