Re: Discover CLI denied

This thread has promoted me to call them up and try to close my card again with them Smiley Happy... I am serious lol..  High limits get high limits and low limits well get low limits.  If I want it again in another few months sure they might approve me for more than I have now which isnt much 4.5k after 18 months.  Sure they will sweat talk me and all I can try and cancel wish me luck Smiley Happy.  Mine hasnt moved in over 7 months

Re: Discover CLI denied

Woot Cancelled ... Ony had to tak to three people before I was able to.  Still have a miles card the limit is bad on it as well, but best APR so will keep that open for now and hopefully that will grow.  One less card to drag down my profile and the double cash is done of course as well and the AAoA will continue for 10 years.  No loss off my back

Re: Discover CLI denied

Discover is the worst when it comes to CLI. I’m in the same boat, I don’t even bother anymore

Re: Discover CLI denied

I got my card in August-16 and didn’t get my 1st cli until June-17... from $800-$1100. No love since. Be jealous.

My credit scores have increased 35 points since June.

Re: Discover CLI denied

Sasha.. was your card secured?  What was your initial CL?

That said.. did you get anything after your third statement?

Part of me is wondering if youll see something after the 6th statement... (not on the 6th, a few days after the 6th statement generates id try if you dont get something automatic)

Re: Discover CLI denied

Just wanna add my five cents to this. I've got mine with a SL of $1.5k in Feb 2016, received an auto CLI of $800 in Aug 2016, received another for $2k in Feb 2017. Since then I've been trying to manually request CLI but only been succeeesful once every 3-4 months. I'm at $8.3 k now

Re: Discover CLI denied

Discover was my first CC exactly a year ago. They gave me a $7500 SL. They then gave me a $4500 CLI 4 months in and another $4000 CLI 2 months after. I'm due for another increase and will request one in November.

Also just last week, they gave my younger brother a $1900 CLI and my mother a $7500 CLI.

I'm surprised to read so many others aren't successful in getting a CLI.
