Discover Card double App... Possible?

Can you app for 2 discover cards in one day like the Cap One or Amex? Got approved for Discover it Cash back today, and would like to try my luck with Miles card also.

Also is it possibe to combine 2 discover cards down the road like you can with Capital One?

Not as far as I can tell. You have to wait a year before you can apply for a 2nd discover card. http://www.doctorofcredit.com/how-many-discover-cards-can-you-have/

I've always read that it's at least 12 months between cards with Discover.  You can try though if you'd like but, don't count on getting two of them back to back.  i wish more lenders were like this considering how many people go crazy and load up on 3-5 cards from an issuer triggering a review.

Here are the facts from my experience with discover:
1. You can not apply for 2 cards within the span of 12 months, i.e. ,you can apply only one card in a year. If you apply back to back cards, second one will be cancelled automatically with the denial reason being multiple applications!!
2. With Discover you can have maximum of two cards any given time.

Discover will let you combine limits

You can combine limits once you have two cards but you cannot get two cards quickly. You have to wait 12 months between them. No double apping.
