Hello,
I'm helping my friend ask this question. My friend is in her 50's. She wanted a Discover credit card. She applied and got denied for limited credit history in March 2017. She then applied for a Chase,American Express and Citi card & Car loan. She got denied for all except for Car loan. She had a store credit card which was closed in 1999. She also had a loan which was closed 2003. As of right now, She has No credit history. She applied for a car loan and got approved because of her high income. Around 80K. She checked her Credit Karma and it says she has 630 as of her Vantage score. I added her to my Amex credit card as an Authorized user 10k limit and after I paid my bill, her score went from 630 to 720 Vantage score. So my question is, When can she apply for a Discover card? She currently has 2 hard inquirys on Transunion, 3 for Equifax and I'm not sure for Experian. So my question is, When can she apply for a Discover card? When can she apply for a personal loan also? How many years of credit history does she need to apply for personal loan? What bank/company do you recommend? Thank you so much!!

I'm not sure but I think she'd be fine after a few months of the auto loan and your card showing.
P.S. Remove the word "Approval" from your post. I think you're not getting as much help because people are assuming this is a post about you getting approved for Discover which doesn't really interest people like "Help" or "How do I get approved for...?"
I think you could get better advice if you could provide her FICO scores...thanks!!
