Discover Declined CLI 🛑

Currently my SL is $3500 i requested a CLI just for giggles .. and i received a letter stating insufficient experience with my current Limit. i have a Delta Gold with a $6K SL i’m approaching 61 days on 2/13/2020 in which i will press my luck. My UL is at 8% no baddies and as you can see my scores are pretty good. the last time i had a CLI from Discover was in August. Why is Miss Discover so stingy? is there like a certain amount of time i should wait before requesting again. I also have a Wells Fargo Platinum Visa which is trash with a SL of $2500 and an Auto Lon which is 49% paid off.

How much spend do you put on the card?

There’s no rhyme or reason with them.. some get increased after the 3 rd statement. Others like me after 6 months.

I have put a lot of spend thru my disco card in the 20+ days of me having it. Hopefully they'll bless me on the 90-91 day mark with a hefty CLI, I cant wait to attempt to double dip.

At times thousands of dollars means nothing in a CLI for months, and months, and months...Sometimes five dollars means a $5000 increase.  We just hit that CLI button, cringe, and wait haha!

For 12 straight months I got nothing. Then I got 4 CLI in the next 6 months. No major profile/spend changes. The calandar changed, in some way Miss Disco decided favored me. 

Ask often. You'll never know it's your time if you don't.
