Just for starters my TU score is 696 and my utilization is at 31%. Im looking to improve both and they have both improved since my last increase with discover. I got my card in August with an initial limit of $1250 and I waited 3 billing cycles to apply again and I got a small bump to $1500. And the next month I got another increase to $1800. After this I've been getting denied for increases and the message always say not enough experience with credit limit. It's been 4 months since my last increase and so I don't get it. I pay my balance off each month. I spend $300 monthly on the card. Any insight?
Discover is strange, DW has had her discover little over a year now and never a credit limit increase, scores are all 720ish, no negatives ever completely clean file with mortgage and auto loans. She gets same denial reason. I would just suggest keep using and PIF.

Miss Disco is fickle.
I had a recent streak of 12 months of NO. Then I got 3 straight months of YES, detailed here. Then a couple of NO followed by a couple of YES.
What I've come to believe based on my experience & what I've read here: ask every month & don't be discouraged. Last month's NO says nothing about your chances of YES this month.
Your time will come too. Unless you stop asking. ![]()
