When I was approved I was given the 14 month 0% and my APR after that is 11.9%. They still arent fond of giving me increases lol
When I called, the lady told me 14.99% so i guess I was denied for the 0% for 14 months. Waiting on the card to see what's happening for real.
They gave me an auto CL after 3 months? I haven't done anything different.
Just wanted to update my original post I got a $4,000 CLI earlier tis week via SP.

Not interested in HP $500 CLIs so I'll just sit back and see what happens with any SP CLI love...
I'll give it a year because I have other cards with higher limits and better rewards so it's not the end of the world either way.
Doing the same thing and expecting a different result, is sort of the definition of insanity ![]()
Call Discover, explain that you are looking for a large credit limit increase, and accept the HP (you want to use this card more, restaurants is a good category for you, and you're really looking forward to Online shopping in the 4th quarter during the Black Friday and Christmas sales, etc, etc). Recon if necessary. Discover usually only pulls one credit report, so the HP only affects your FICO score on that one report, and after 3-6 months the impact of a single HP is very small (ie, your score recovers). A year from now, the HP doesn't affect FICO at all.
I've gotten my Discover from initial $2000 to $3000 via HP after 6 months, and to $5000 via HP at the 10.5 month point. Since then I've been able to REQUEST SP increases to $6000, $7500, $8500, $9500. The card is now 26 months old.
Sometimes you just have to make things happen.
